I started Divers Sounds in 1985. I was playing live in coffee shops back then. One day a friend asked if I could supply the sound system for a party he was throwing. I happened to have the equipment, so I said “Sure, why not?” and unbelievably received two bookings there! My friend and I still talk about the “party that started it all”. Diverse Sounds went on to become one of THE most requested DJ companies in Grand Rapids and West Michigan. Not only are we great at what we do, we love what we do!
